This 3.5 ton 25feet high monster was Sculpted by Gerald Gladstone a Canadian sculptor. It was cast in bronze by Morris Singer of Basingstoke Titled "Universal Man" It was erected at the base of the CN Tower. I am told by travellers that it is no longer there. Normally it takes just Myself and Albert to install bronzes but because of Canadian labour rules I was forced to use six men from the site.
Above a large bronze arch fabrication around 6 ton. Concept by Miles Davies produced at Burleighfield High Wycombe, it was a very complex piece to produce. In the past it was featured on the childrens television in a series called "BRUM" Location Brindley Place Birmingham. Below installation underway, this was one of the most difficult and intense peice to install, it was mounted on steps of different heights, the steps were faced with with cast bronze which also acted as a mould to retain the concrete during pumping operations.
