This page I show shots of the foundries where I have worked.

Which are:-Corinthian Bronze, Peckham London. Morris Singer,Dorset Road Lambeth. Morris Singer Basingstoke. Burleighfield Arts Loudwater High Wycombe. 

Above:-Burleighfield Arts, A very buzy little  foundry at Loudwater High Wycombe. Good things come in small parcels, I am prejudice of course.

Me 1953

Henry Moore  " Reclining figure" 1 ton bronze Cast at Corinthian Bronze Peckham London.

At the foundry, "The Sheep Group" A very large piece by Henry Moore. Cast in Basingstoke.

Me sand  Moulding a Barbara Hepworth piece "Hollow Form"   Morris Singer Dorset Road Lambeth.

Special sand mix used for casting sculpture commonly called  the Co2 process.

3 bronze castings sculpted by Barbara Hepworth. Cast in  Morris Singer Dorset Road Lambeth.

This piece was cast in Aluminium, it was the very first contract that kicked of the new foundry in the "Trees" of Morris Singer after moving from Dorset Road Lambeth, to Basingstoke. This was a very large piece of arround 20ft.Location the Sperry Gyroscope firm in Bracknell.

 

Casting bronze into a sand mould,temperature around 1150 degrees Cel.
